Participants will shadow principals on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., followed by a roundtable debrief session.
Guest principals will witness teaching and learning, family and community engagement, student leadership, student and staff supports, and other aspects of school operations.
Principal for a Day is being held in conjunction with American Education Week, a national celebration of educators and school support personnel.
“We look forward to welcoming Henry County leaders into our schools as principals for a day,” Superintendent Dr. John Pace III said. “We hope our guest principals come away with a deeper understanding of, and stronger connection to, their public schools. We also hope they have a little fun along the way.”
